Invitations go out in January, and you’ll RSVP here on the site. Click RSVP in the menu and you’ll land on our page, where you enter the first and last name of one person in your party. Your whole party will come up, and you can respond for everyone at once. You’ll also be able to note any dietary restrictions there.
Please reply by March 1. If you already know you can’t make it, early regrets are especially appreciated.
Everyone invited is named on your envelope and will appear in your party when you look yourself up to RSVP. If a name isn’t listed in either place, we weren’t able to include them.
We’ve kept the celebration small and mostly adults only. The only children joining us are a few who are in the wedding party.Spring formal. Suits and ties, cocktail or floor-length dresses. The ceremony is in an active cathedral, so we’d ask that you keep that in mind when choosing something. Nothing too short, too sheer, or cut too low.
One practical note: cocktail hour is outdoors (weather-permitting) on the lawn at Cohen’s, so be mindful of your footwear. The ceremony ends around 3 PM and cocktail hour starts at 5 PM. While the wedding party takes photos, feel free to grab a drink and wander around the Historic District. Our favorite spots are on the Travel & Stay page. Cohen’s Retreat is about fifteen minutes east, so plan to head out around 4:30 PM.
It’s a full Catholic Mass, about an hour. If you’re not Catholic, you can sit, stand, and kneel along with everyone else or stay seated, whichever is more comfortable. Communion is reserved for Catholic guests. Please arrive by 1:30 PM.
We ask that you put your phones away during the ceremony as we’ve hired a photographer to capture it, and it’s an active place of worship. The cathedral is one of the most beautiful buildings in Savannah and you'll definitely want a picture; just do so before the ceremony starts, while you’re finding your seat.
No, hotel blocks usually mean one hotel at one price, and Savannah has many different options at many price points. We’ve listed historic inns, rentals, hotels, and a few options outside downtown on the Travel & Stay page, with walk times to the ceremony.
April is peak season in Savannah, so book sooner rather than later.
