Where to Stay
Savannah has many unique options regarding lodging. We recommend staying downtown if you can, which puts you within walking distance of the ceremony and central to everything else. We recommend booking early; April is peak season in Savannah and places will fill up quickly!
Historic Rentals & Inns

varies per property
Managed by a family friend, Janet Wagner, who is holding her properties for our guests before they list publicly on Airbnb and VRBO. Reach out through her site and mention the Bryant/Nardone wedding.
about 1 min
On Lafayette Square, directly beside the church. Nothing in the city puts you closer to the ceremony.
about 8 min
A restored Victorian on Columbia Square, with a private lot nearby.
about 14 min
A Victorian mansion facing Forsyth Park, with breakfast on the terrace and the fountain across the street. Further out than the others, and worth the walk if you want the famous park at your door.
DOWNTOWN HOTELS
walk to cathedral
about 3 min
A grand old Savannah hotel on Liberty Street, and the closest of the big properties to the ceremony. A longtime favorite with wedding guests for exactly that reason.
about 10 min
Nineteenth century bones with a careful renovation, right in the middle of the district. The rooftop is a good place to start an evening.
about 12 min
On Bay Street beside City Market, a block from the shops on Broughton. The most reasonable rate you'll find this central.
about 20 min
A converted power plant at the west end of River Street, and the largest of the river properties. Furthest from the ceremony, but one of our favorite places to stroll.

Midtown & Pooler
15 to 20 min
Familiar chain hotels with free parking and pools, at a discount compared to downtown rates. Pooler puts you closest to the airport and next door to the Tanger Outlets. The best value in the city if you don't mind the drive.
Tybee Island
about 30 min
If you'd rather wake up at the beach, less of a budget option than a different trip entirely. Beach rentals and small hotels, worth it if you're staying past the wedding weekend.

Getting Here
By Plane
Savannah/Hilton Head International (SAV) is about twenty minutes from the Historic District. Every major airline flies in except Alaska.
By Car
Savannah sits just off I-95, two hours from Charleston, two from Jacksonville, and about four from Atlanta.
By Train
Amtrak stops four miles from the Historic District. Trains often arrive in the middle of the night, and there's no reasonable route from Atlanta.
Getting Around

The Lay of the Land
Savannah is easier to navigate than most cities its age. The Historic District is a grid of twenty-two squares, and nearly everything you'll want is a fifteen minute walk from everything else.
Parking & Getting Around
If you're staying downtown, you likely won't need a car. Uber and Lyft are easy to find, and the DOT shuttle is free. If you do drive, parking is only a couple of dollars an hour on the street, free on Sundays, and the ParkSavannah app lets you add time from wherever you're standing.
Getting to the Reception
Cohen's Retreat is about fifteen minutes east of downtown, an easy drive with parking on site. Rideshare is reliable on the way out and less so on the way back, so give your ride home a little thought ahead of time.
